CPN Annual Gathering – 2023

Grateful for the opportunity to gather in person again, and pleased to be able to host a Gathering in the Eastern U.S., which has been requested by Network members, we’re looking forward to making full use of the amenities Sandy Cove will offer our group, both in upgraded lodging and beautiful grounds, great dining options, versatile meeting spaces and the beauty of the changing seasons along the Eastern Seaboard.
Date
The gathering begins with dinner at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 24th, and concludes before lunch on Friday, Oct. 27th.
Location
Sandy Cove Retreat Center, at 60 Sandy Cove Road, North East, MD 21901, is just over an hour’s commute from either Baltimore (BWI) or Philadelphia (PHL) airports. Shuttle service options will be publicized by the Network well in advance of the Gathering, allowing the participants to select, book, and pay for this transportation individually. Details to follow.
Cost
There is a $100 non-refundable conference fee which covers travel and lodging for our Cuban guests, honoraria for speakers, conference refreshments, web services, and insurance, which Sandy Cove requires.
Separately, the room and meal cost for the entire meeting at the conference center for double occupancy is $415 per person and $635 for single occupancy. We recognize that these prices are a bit of an uptick relative to prior venues, as these reflect the Northeast market.
These payments (conference fee and room and meals) to CPN (made on a later webpage in this sequence) cover 3 nights of accommodations, 8 meals, and meeting expenses. Registrants’ payments (made on a later webpage) will occur exclusively electronically, allowing one to use Visa, Master Card, or PayPal account.
Commuters may purchase lunch and dinner for Wednesday and Thursday for $110. Lunch only for Wednesday and Thursday may be purchased for $70.
Travel
Booking of and payment for travel to Maryland, and for shuttle transportation to the Conference Center are the responsibility of the attendee. Shuttle service options will be publicized by the Network well in advance of the Gathering, allowing the participants to select, book, and pay for this transportation individually.
Deadlines
The registration deadline is Aug. 24, 2023. Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis. All payments to CPN are refundable until Aug. 31, 2023.
