VISUAL ART WILL BE HUNG the last week of April,
with a show open date of SUNDAY MAY 3, 2026. 

Art will be on display through June 21.
Viewings will be Sundays after worship, with additional times as published.

 

Performances will take place at The First Presbyterian Church in the City of New York on a Sunday afternoon in May or June.

Tentative Performance Schedule:

& Sunday, June 14th starting at 2pm

VISUAL ARTIST AGREEMENT

This Artwork Agreement is entered into by and between the “Artist” and The First Presbyterian Church in the City of New York (the “Church”) for display of work(s) for the group show, as follows:

 

Exhibition Name: “Deep & WIDE”

Start Date: Sunday May 3, 2026      

Closing Date: Sunday June 21, 2026

Exhibition Location: First Presbyterian Church in the City of New York

Exhibition Description: Creatives Create!  Artwork Delivery Date:   Sunday, April 26, 2026 (last day) 

Artwork Pick-up Date:    Sunday, June 21, 2026

If there are multiple works in the exhibition, please enter the following information for each piece:


  • Title and date of work(s)

  • Medium and dimensions

  • If item is for sale and if so, price (if applicable)

Terms:

  1. The Artist agrees to exhibit the above work(s) at The First Presbyterian Church in the City of New York for the duration mentioned in this Agreement.

  2. The works of art selected for display will be mounted at the Church in accordance with the rules and regulations of the Church, which may be found in two documents available from the Business Office (“The First Presbyterian Church in the City of New York House Rules” and “Rules and Regulations”), and under the supervision of a designated member of the Church. Artist agrees that it will display only such works as have been approved in advance by the Church and that Artist will not substitute or add any works without written permission of the Church.

  3. The works of art will be removed by the termination date agreed upon between the Artist and the Church. If the Artist fails to remove the works of art by the termination date, the Church may remove the works of art. In the event that the Church must remove the art, the Artist holds the Church harmless for methods used to remove the works.

  4. The Artist agrees that no labels or other designations of the Artist’s work will be affixed to the display space without the consent of the Church.

  5. The Church agrees to safeguard the artwork(s) under generally accepted conditions of control and security, from the time Artist leaves the artwork at the exhibition location to the scheduled date for pick up. The Artist acknowledges, however, that the Church does not have security systems comparable to a commercial art gallery. Should any damage occur while the work is on the property of the Church, the Artist absolves church of all responsibility.

  6. The Artist agrees that when the gallery space is open to the public, the Artist may bring guests or others to view the works; however, there will be no tours or showings of the works during other times without appointments arranged through the Church.

  7. The Artist agrees to allow work to be photographed and recorded for Church archives and, if chosen, to be used for internal Church use and publications such as, but not limited to, newsletters, devotional booklets, annual reports, social media (excluding recordings), etc. 

  8. No amendment or waiver of any provision of this Agreement shall be effective unless the same shall be in writing and signed by the Church.

  9. All notices and other communications provided for hereunder shall be either (i) in writing and mailed or otherwise delivered or (ii) by electronic mail confirmed immediately in writing, addressed to each party at its address set forth on the previous page.

  10. This Agreement shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the law of the State of New York.

Please recruit your own artists to perform your piece. Creatives Create! will coordinate with you and your team on scheduling, time and place. 


Creatives Create! will be responsible for your front of house/audience set up. Performance space set-up will be the responsibility of performer(s) who will need to work in conjunction with church staff and your Creatives Create! event day lead.  Always best to keep things simple.

Performing Artist Agreement

Tentative Performance Schedule: Sunday May 17, 2026 - 2pm Sunday June 14, 2026 - 2pm

This Performing Artist Agreement is entered into by and between the “Artist” and The First Presbyterian Church in the City of New York (the “Church”) for performance of work(s) for Creatives Create!, as follows:

Are you are NOT available on either of these dates?

Terms:

  1. The Artist agrees to perform the above work at The First Presbyterian Church in the City of New York during Creatives Create! with a minimum of one public presentations on a Sunday afternoon in May or June of 2026. If time assigned to Artist is not agreeable, then the Artist agrees to work with Creatives Create! production team

    to find a mutually agreeable time for presentation.

  2. The Artist agrees to provide other artists to execute and present the work, including director and/or conductor and performers.

  3. The Artist will be provided with limited rehearsal time in the performance space prior to the presentation. Creatives Create! will work with the Artist to arrange a block of time for rehearsal.

  4. The Artist, and all persons participating in the presentation of the artwork, will hold The First Presbyterian Church in the City of New York harmless for any injury, accident or other incident, etc. incurred on the Church property during rehearsal and/or presentation of the work.

  5. If possible, the Church will use its reasonable efforts to provide limited storage for non-valuable props, equipment, etc. that may be used in the presentation. The Church agrees to safeguard such items under generally accepted conditions of control and security. The Artist acknowledges, however, that the Church does not have security systems comparable to a commercial performance space.

  6. The Artist agrees to allow work to be photographed and recorded for Church archives and, if chosen, to be used for internal Church use and publications such as, but not limited to, newsletters, devotional booklets, annual reports, social media (excluding recordings), etc.

I understand and accept that planning for water visits starts well before the date of departure and does not end once we return home. Therefore, as a team member, I expect to participate fully in orientation and pre-visit planning, activities during the visit, debriefing, and post-visit activities.

I understand and accept that there is a zero tolerance policy for drug use, excessive alcohol consumption, sexual or verbal harassment or abuse of any kind. 

I understand and accept that team members must be flexible, cooperative, and strive to maintain a positive attitude, especially during challenging circumstances. I agree to cooperate at all times with team leaders and will honor and respect the customs, language, and traditions of our hosts.

  1. Experience or interest in one or more of the following technical skills:
    Plumbing, electrical, and/or carpentry

  2. Ability to work and stand for extended periods of time (for 4-5 days), working outside in variable weather without air conditioning

  3. Ability to lift 30 or more pounds 

  4. Ability to instruct and train others. Each team member will do the work, instruct others to perform the work, and provide training on all parts of the system.

  5. Not afraid to get your hands dirty

Non-compliance with any of the items above will result in removal from the team.
